Can I make a little critique of this without people going nuts?  When posting examples of sites that have good color schemes one should also take into account readability.  The Soeuls example has a pretty set of colors, but I can’t read the text because of a bad color choice.  It hurts my eyes to try; I have 20/20 vision, so it’s not me.  The light purple on orange tag area in particular is difficult.

Just a fun little article/tutorial for anyone interested in how to customize tumblr themes (in terms of colour choices). So chuck out those tacky background patterns and dull-looking, ill-matched colour combos and switch in for a chic, simple, flattering look!

Ah! Good point. I had a hard time finding a good/perfect colour scheme where the colours were all the same tones ;A; But yes, I agree with you. Probably will fix that example if I find a better one.
